Iguazu Falls
Shared on the border between Brazil and Argentina in South America, Iguazu Falls is the largest waterfalls system in the world. Splitting the upper and lower Iguazu river with drops of up to 269 feet, the falls span 1.7 miles in total. There are approximately 275 individual waterfalls in the system, swelling upwards to 300 falls when water levels rise.
Both Argentina and Brazil maintain their own national parks at the falls and both parks have been designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
