November 14, 2017 — Healing HealthCare Systems (HHS) has been selected as a partner for the Virtual Medicine conference at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, March 28-29, 2018.
Developed by the VR clinical research team at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Virtual Medicine is a two-day symposium and hands-on workshop that convenes the brightest minds in therapeutic VR.
HHS is among 15 companies that have been carefully chosen to partner with Cedars-Sinai to demo the most compelling VR products and services to the 300 key opinion leaders, clinicians, health system leaders, investors, patients, and payors at the meeting.
“We’re excited to be partnering with Cedars-Sinai to bring C.A.R.E. VR to this audience,” said Haydn Bertelson, Executive Vice President and COO of HHS. “C.A.R.E. VR is the next evolution in our 25-year mission to comfort, inspire, and distract patients from the pain and worry of their condition.”
Expanding on the benefits of The C.A.R.E. Channel, C.A.R.E. VR features immersive, 360° video that allows patients to escape into the peace and relaxation of the natural world, including the natural soundscape.
HHS has also joined the VR AR Association, an international organization of more than 15,000 professionals that fosters collaboration between innovative companies and people in the virtual reality and augmented reality ecosystem.
