HHS #1 for Best Places to Work in Northern Nevada

May 5, 2015 — Healing HealthCare Systems (HHS) has been awarded first place in the 2015 Best Places to Work initiative.  Created in 2008 to honor organizations who deliver an outstanding work experience, the program is sponsored by the Northern Nevada Human Resources Association, in partnership with the Carson City Chamber of Commerce, Carson Valley Chamber of Commerce, Reno-Sparks Chamber of Commerce, Nevada Association of Employers, KTVN Channel 2, and Microsoft.

Goals of the Best Places to Work initiative are to share best practices of companies that have created positive work environments, promote the Northern Nevada region, and provide valuable feedback to companies that helps measure levels of employee satisfaction and engagement.

“This award is so meaningful because its foundation comes from our staff,” said Susan E. Mazer, Ph.D., HHS President and CEO. “We are committed to ensuring each person a chance to reach beyond where they start.  And, they each know that they have a direct line to the patients and families we serve. For that reason, we are accountable to each of them.”

Winners are selected based exclusively on employees’ responses to a 37 question Employee Engagement Survey. The research for this project is done by Quantum Workplace.
