August 5, 2014 — The proof that nature can enhance the healing process came from research that compared patients having a window looking out on nature versus looking at a brick wall. The fact that patients who had a window looking out on nature got better faster supports the use of nature art in healthcare; the artwork can be a substitute for the window.
If that is true then a nature video should be even better because it is more real. Unfortunately, most patients don’t have the opportunity to turn on a channel showing relaxing nature videos.
