C.A.R.E. VR Debuts at Magnet Conference

erinn-field-vr-web-02October 4, 2017 – Attendees at next week’s ANCC National Magnet Conference in Houston, Tex., will get the first look at C.A.R.E. VR, a 360-degree immersive experience that allows patients to explore and interact with nature.

Delivered using an app loaded onto a virtual reality headset, patients can select a scenic environment and then interact with their surroundings at their own choosing and pace.

“C.A.R.E. VR makes the natural world real within the four walls of the patient’s room,” said Haydn Bertelson, Executive Vice President and COO of Healing HealthCare Systems. “Studies have also shown that immersive 360-degree experiences can calm and distract patients, relieving the sensation of pain.”

Magnet attendees can put on a virtual reality headset and experience C.A.R.E. VR when they stop by The C.A.R.E. Channel booth 2031 in the exhibit hall.
